Mommy is soooooo funny! Lane laughs at me all the time...I can get her to laugh sometimes by just looking at her.

7 Months Old

Lane was 7 months old on Thursday. She is exploring the world around her and definitely developing her own unique personality. She loves to swim, smiles a lot, and takes great pictures [obviously :-)]. She isn't crawling yet but is scooting along and somehow gets to where she wants to be. She is sitting all on her own but has yet to sit up all on her own...hope that makes sense.

Bailey

This is a name that we are saying a lot in the past few days. We are dog sitting for some friends of ours while they are away. She is a very adorable about 5 month old (I think) Beagle puppy. Anyway, there is a lot of "Bailey leave Dante alone," and "Bailey stop biting Zoe's tail," being said lately. She is a typical puppy. We decided to buy her a new toy today, since she has nearly demolished the toy she brought with her (Sorry Emily). We had a KONG party tonight. Here are some pictures of Bailey with her new kong. So rest easy Claire and Luke, Bailey is loving it here with her new pals, Dante and Zoe.

Photo Shoot

Here are some pictures from a recent photo shoot that Memaw and Gepaw had done while we were visiting them in San Antonio. Lane did so well. She smiled and smiled for the camera. It was difficult to choose which pictures to purchase (thank you Memaw!).

Lane's new trick is, for lack of a better term, "face sucking." She likes to give people kisses but it is more like she latches on to their neck or chin and chomps down. It is pretty funny. Here she is demonstrating this on Memaw.

Lane has began exploring the wonderous world of fur. She loves to pet the dogs...or grab clumps of their fur...whatever, I like to refer to it as petting.

My sister bought Lane this ensemble for July 4th and she rocks it!
