20 Months Old

Well, Lane turned 20 months old yesterday, which means...only four more months to use those pacifiers. All in all it has been a really entertaining month in Lane world, as a good friend phrased it, "It's like she finally realized she was a toddler." Lane has begun to use her voice, screaming, yelling, making funny (loud) noises. She also has become a real snuggler. She loves to blow people kisses (even strangers) and walks around the room making the "kiss" noise with her mouth. She has begun to be more finicky with her food and sometimes uses a fork. Her hair is finally long enough to put into two tiny pigtails. She is swimming unassisted for four seconds in her swim class (gasp!) and enjoying it immensely. She still LOVES to read and probably would for hours if I would let her. She also loves to play with her shape puzzle cube and is really good at figuring out where the shape fits into the cube. And even though it claimed the corner of her front tooth, she still loves to swing.
